Welcome to Choctaw Nation Health Care Obstetrical inpatient unit. Our unit consists of LDPRs (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Post-Partum) in Southeastern Oklahoma. Patients admitted to LDPR experience the spectrum of care in the same room up to discharge. Every room has a large private bathroom with a shower. Our rooms also provide a view of the beautiful scenery surrounding the hospital.
     Our staff consists of high qualified nursing staff (RNs and LPNs), who have been specially trained to care for the obstetrical, gynecological and nursery patients. We offer in room recovery of our newborns. This promotes early bonding and breastfeeding.
     Pain management is offered to all delivering mothers through either Epidurals, or Intrathecals. For C-sections, general anesthesia is also available.
     Physicians for both OB and nursery patients are always available, and we provide in-house nurse midwives twenty four hours a day.
     Breastfeeding teaching is provided by certified lactation consultants. We provide car seats and will, with permission, put a digital photograph of your baby on the Choctaw Nation Website. Patients traveling long distance can take advantage of our Hospitality House.
